Basic graphic design

This course focuses not only on theoretical learning, but also on practice, giving young people the opportunity to work on real projects and build a portfolio that demonstrates their skills and creativity.

Introduction to Graphic Design

Objective:

To familiarize students with the basic concepts and history of graphic design.

Contents:

  • History and evolution of graphic design.
  • Basic principles of design (color, typography, composition).
  • Graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).

Color Theory and Typography

Objective:

Understand the theory of color and typography and its application in graphic design.

Contents:

  • Psychology of color and its visual impact.
  • Typography: selection and combination of fonts.
  • Creation of effective color palettes.

Digital Design

Objective:

Develop skills in the use of digital tools to create graphic designs.

Contents:

  • Graphic design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Creation and edition of digital images.
  • Web and multimedia design techniques.

Branding and Corporate Design

Objective:

Learn how to design the visual identity of a brand.

Contents:

  • Branding concepts and their importance.
  • Creation of logos and other visual identity elements.
  • Development of brand manuals.

Projects and Portfolio

Objective:

Apply the knowledge acquired in practical projects and create a professional portfolio.

Contents:

  • Development of real graphic design projects.
  • Evaluation and constructive criticism of the work.
  • Creation of a digital and physical portfolio.
